Chicken Jinx

I think I must have jinxed Chicken Little. She came limping up to my daughter yesterday afternoon with a nasty bite on her backside. We brought her in the house (something I vowed never to do) and watched her overnight to see how she would do. This morning saw lots of clucking, eating and drinking so I'm hoping recovery will occur. I've called the vet to see about antibiotics and the receptionist said "A chicken? I'm not sure we treat chickens." I told her to just think bird and let me know. I keep you posted as developments occur.
